Nothing with white sugar or white flour or white potatoes. Stick to whole grains, brown rice and sweet potatoes.
You are over 60% water, and by the time you are thirsty you are already somewhat dehydrated.
Never skip breakfast, try to eat soon after you awaken.
Meals and snacks every 3-3 1/2 hours keeps your energy constant during the day and helps you better handle stress.
Remember: carbohydrates burn, proteins build. You need both in each meal and snack.
While we need some fat in our diet, high-fat foods open the door to major disease.
Brightly colored fruits and vegetable are loaded with anti-oxidants. The brighter the color, the higher the nutrients. Think carrots, broccoli, spinach, blueberries, etc.
